Learn about IBA Karachi BBA, BS Computer Science and other degrees, 2026–27 fees, eligibility, aptitude tests and admission dates.
The Institute of Business Administration Karachi is one of Pakistan's most recognised choices for business, economics, computer science, mathematics and social sciences. IBA combines a demanding academic environment with a strong professional network and a Karachi-based campus experience. It is especially attractive for students who want business education, quantitative analysis, technology and communication skills in the same institution.

Programs at IBA
The undergraduate portfolio includes the Bachelor of Business Administration, BS Accounting and Finance, BS Business Analytics, BS Computer Science, BS Economics, BS Economics and Data Science, BS Economics and Mathematics, BS Mathematics, and BS Social Sciences and Liberal Arts. Applicants should confirm the programme list for the intake because the school, test route and course prerequisites can vary.
IBA fee structure for 2026–27
The official 2026–27 fee page lists PKR 31,500 per credit hour for the undergraduate programmes shown, with a student activity charge of PKR 7,000 where applicable. It also lists one-time admission charges of PKR 125,000. A student taking 15 credit hours would therefore have PKR 472,500 in credit-hour tuition before activity charges, taxes, hostel, transport and other costs. The actual semester invoice depends on the credit load and applicable charges.
IBA lists a 3% Sindh Sales Tax on services where applicable and states that fees are generally revised annually. Hostel rates and transport charges are separate. Students should use the fee page and the official invoice rather than estimating the whole degree from a single semester.
Eligibility for undergraduate applicants
The published programme information states that BBA, BS Accounting and Finance and BS Business Analytics applicants generally need an HSSC qualification with at least 65% marks, or the equivalent A-Level, American high-school or International Baccalaureate route. BS programmes such as computer science and mathematics generally require HSSC or equivalent with at least 60% and the relevant science or mathematics background. A-Level and foreign qualification applicants should provide the required equivalence.
Aptitude test and selection
Candidates can apply through the IBA aptitude test or may use an accepted SAT or ACT score under the applicable waiver policy. IBA describes admission as merit-based and may use academic performance, aptitude-test performance and interview or programme-specific stages. Applicants should read the current admission policy carefully because score thresholds and test options can differ between BBA, BSCS, economics, mathematics and social-science programmes.
For future applicants, IBA publishes a schedule with application windows, admit-card dates, aptitude tests, interviews, final results and admission-package dates. Start preparation with English, mathematics, analytical reasoning and timed practice. Keep a second-choice programme or university available because competition can be intense even for students with strong board results.
Important: Rankings, deadlines, eligibility rules, tuition, taxes, hostel charges and scholarships can change. Always confirm the latest notice and fee voucher on the university's official website before applying or paying.
