Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant (BPS-15): Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates must also complete the six-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before expiry of the probation period.
- Stenotypist (BPS-14): Intermediate, minimum shorthand speed of 80/40 words per minute in shorthand/typing respectively, and computer literacy.
- UDC (BPS-13): Intermediate, three-week Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) through NITB before expiry of the probation period, and computer literacy.
- LDC (BPS-11): Matric, typing speed of 30 words per minute, and the prescribed three-week NITB Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) before expiry of probation.
The general age limit starts at 18 years. The upper limits shown in the notice are 33 years for Assistant and 30 years for Stenotypist, UDC and LDC, including five years’ general age relaxation. Additional relaxation may apply to eligible categories under the stated government rules.
